Is it really un-American?
Peaceful protests and voicing your sentiments about issues before the public has always been the hallmark of a democratic society. In fact our U.S. Constitution — sacrosanct to Americans — (except maybe to Obama and his henchmen), allows for peaceful assembly.
But not according to the outspoken and usually misguided Speaker Nancy Pelosi. It seems if we protest we are un-American.
Take Obama bin Laden’s health care plan, known affectionately as ObamaCare. Those opposing it, she says, are running an "ugly campaign" which, according to Pelosi (who has a reputation in California of being a total boob) is undeniably "un-American."
Pelosi, in a recent USA Today op-ed piece, lashed out at those Americans who don’t want ObamaCare. It is socialistic and will drain our resources and will leave a lot of us out in the cold, medically speaking. During this August recess members of Congress hid from their constituents. They didn't want to be raked over the coals for this idiocy known as ObamaCare. They didn't want to meet with people face-to-face, except maybe in a controlled environment like a telephone town hall meeting or a live meeting where questions and questioners are prescreened.
It wasn't too long ago when lawmakers couldn’t wait to meet with their bosses (the electorate) and tell them what’s going on. Apparently now we know what’s going on, a lot more than we ever did, and don’t need these jerks to help us see the light and these leftist fools don’t like that. They want us, those who pay their salaries, to remain in the dark about any subject so they can spin a yarn for the voters (the bosses).
So remember, folks, if you oppose ObamaCare you’re “un-American” and if you oppose any of the Anointed One’s programs you’re a domestic terrorist.
There are a lot out there these days and the number keeps growing.
